"Beech Dances I"
by Jean Barnes Brown
~Jean Barnes Downs~
"There is a rhythmic pulse in all of creation that moves and flows through our natural world. The contour line that I see and love in that world reflects this movement and flow finding expression in my monotypes and monoprints. In this body of work I combine my love of contour line drawing with the printmaking process." Jean's other work can be found at the Washington Printmakers Gallery by visiting www.washingtonprintmakers.com or at the Arts at Canal Place www.artsatcanalplace.com.

"Brass Centipede Sculptural Necklace"
by Mary A. McCunn
~Mary A. McCunn~
"Some words should be spoken on the ebb and flow in nature. Insects as they meander in waves across a fallen tree or how a variety of organic items move and gain a rhythm on the gentle and not-so-gentle waters of our rivers and brooks. Wearable jewelry in sterling silver, brass and copper, as well as sculptures in metal and select driftwood will be featured to include some of these words."
